The Warwick Symphony Orchestra (WSO) brings live musical performances to communities across Rhode Island. As a regional volunteer touring symphony, the WSO seeks to deliver high-quality live music and affordable performances to diverse communities. WSO ensures accessibility and appeals to a wide-ranging audience of varied backgrounds through programming that seamlessly between classical and orchestral pops programs.

Throughout mid-winter and spring 2023 the diverse membership of the WSO is actively rehearsing as smaller ensembles to present a series of FREE outreach performances for our community. The Warwick Public Library will host premiere performances by these ensembles:

STRING ORCHESTRA: Sunday – February 12, 2023 @ 2:00pm
SMALL ENSEMBLES: Sunday – April 23, 2023 @ 2:00pm
MORE SMALL ENSEMBLES: Tuesday – June 13, 2023 @ 7:00pm

Funding for the A Little Live Music program has been provided in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and private funders.
